Nice Carnival 2024 : The King of Pop Culture

No, you are not in Rio de Janeiro but on the Côte d’Azur, where the Nice Carnival will invite you to a change of scenery, just under an hour from Menton

From 17th February to 3rd March 2024, Nice will become the Fashion Capital of the World with this new edition of the Carnival on the theme ” The King of Pop Culture”. Come and admire the extravagant float parades, the big heads and the elegant Flower Battles.

Vibrate to the frenzied rhythms of the sambas and the dancers. Discover a unique parade where thousands of flowers are distributed. And don’t forget to dress up to be part of the corsos.

Taking place on the Place Masséna and its Pavilion, the Corso carnavalesque is the local parade of floats decorated with a thousand lights. The highlight of the carnival will be the final corso, which will end with the burning of the King, a tradition from Nice.

Emblematic of Nice, the flower battles promise fun for young and old. Posted on the floats of the parade, costumed models throw flowers of all sizes, shapes and colours to the crowd. The costumes are specially created for the occasion and are worthy of theatrical performances, while the 100,000 or so flowers thrown in promise to beautify many an interior. Unique in the world, this is a show not to be missed under any circumstances.
